FAQ

# Question Answer
1 What is the most frequently asked question? The most frequent question is the one unasked.
2 Why does the fuel gauge for the Do Good Gauge logo measure slightly past half full? When everything is perfect there is no room for improvement.
3 Please provide more information on the logo. Symbolically the image represents connectivity of intelligent thought. Each node of the fullerene represents a refinement process for expressing a thought by an individual or like thinking group. The mesh is the connectivity of ideas on a relative scale between similar and opposing. The encapsulated gauge describes a non polarizing method of measuring the worth of an idea and how the connectivity of all ideas is rolled up into a single score for humanity. The yellow gradient is representative of the sun and illustrates spirituality. The current score on the gauge is an optimistic look on humanity, where the value is slightly tilted toward good. This score represents the room for improvement.
4 What do the balls or balloons represent in the page header? The balls represent tangency of ideas. Everyone has a unique point of view. Though desires may be different there is an area of overlap. A relative level of mutual inclusion and exclusion of perspective. The balloons are intended to be fun and interesting. Diversity of thought should be glorified for its potential instead of shunned by hate, bias, greed, sloth, and ignorance.
5 Why so many quotes? There is always someone somewhere in time who has said what I'm attempting to express in fewer words in a more articulate manner. Secondly, so many are saying the same thing, only in different words. Brevity is a virtue and something I struggle with.
6 What is up with the poor quality of some of the essays? As the author of many of the essays, I do not proclaim to be an expert in the subject nor a good writer. Many topics barely scratch the surface of understanding lacking a scientific or academic background in the subject. Many essays are left incomplete with hope in an expert sharing knowledge as a mentor. There is a direction pointed to in each essay. Hopefully a mentor will help lead the thought on the path of understanding.
